I do share accommodation with tenants who are renting from a landlord. I’ve read the rest of the site (thanks for it, by the way) and still am uncertain.

I am uncertain whether I am in fact a lodger. This part of the ’21 days’ suggests that furnishings are provided are part of a lodging arrangment. I recently moved in with a married couple who signed tenancy on a home new to them too and took me on ‘care of’. I signed nothing. I have exclusive use of an unfurnished bedroom and bathroom. They provide no services. There is no written agreement at all, and what now appears to be a very unclear verbal agreement. Am I a lodger?
